Carbon nanotubes (CNT) are used as materials in the fields of electronics and fuel cells. To optimize the intrinsic electrical and mechanical properties of CNTs, a key first step is dispersion that loosens the aggregation state.

We evaluated the dispersibility of CNT with respect to a particle diameter and zeta potential using sodium dodecyl-sulfate (SDS), an anionic surfactant, as the dispersant.
